Where are you?
We're based in Shewsbury, England.
We ship all over the world, about 1 in 5 of our sales are exports.

How long have you been around?
Fish Records started trading on 1st February 1999.

How and why did you start Fish Records?
The abridged version is in that in 1995 I discovered new artists from reading the Dar-list (a Dar Williams discussion group); this led to frustration in trying to get hold of the CDs, which in turn led to the start of Fish Records.

Do you have a shop?
The nature of the discs we sell means that it's a niche market and there's no way it would work with a traditional shop as there isn't a concentrated demand - mail order is the only way it works.

Can I visit you?
It's a tentative yes, it needs to be arranged in advance and on a day that's suitable for us - please feel free to ask.

I'm a singer/songwriter and I'd love to have my disc on your site, what do I need to do?
We do carry lots of discs from independent singer/songwriters based all over the world, but we can't stock everything that we receive. Have a look at the rest of our site and if you think your disc fits in then please feel free to contact us or send a disc to the address above. We can't guarantee we can stock your disc, but we will listen to it and get back to you.
